Children's Expo
Description:
The incidence of childhood obesity is on the rise. SCHC received a grant from the Public Health Agency of Canada to implement a health promotion program aimed at increasing healthy eating and physical activity. Utilizing the health education strategy, SCHC is putting on an EXPO to provide an opportunity for parents and children to learn and experience various healthy lifestyle activities. The EXPO will feature information booths, performances by entertainers and activity stations.

Your Responsibilities:
Volunteer your time to help out at the event.
Assist with set up and clean up.

Assist with evaluations/obtaining feedback from participants.
Learning Opportunities:
Participate in a promotional event.
Network with community partners.
