Technical Analyst
Currently, SCHC is seeking a Technical Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and troubleshoot all technical Help Desk calls from all staff in a timely manner
- Provide desktop, server, network and applications support
- Coordinate and schedule hardware and software installations and maintenance
- Support the design of the network infrastructure and the evaluation and recommendation of new software and hardware to ensure continuous improvement of client and Centre requirements
- Maintain software licenses
- Provide user training on new software products
- Documentation and on-going maintenance of IT systems topology
- Remain current in technical advancements and new concepts
- Compliance to Centre policies and procedures
- Dedication to continuous improvement in professional and technical knowledge, including participation in required training
- Other duties as required by management or board of directors
Qualifications:
- Minimum four years experience in Computer Technology and experience with PC repair, preferably in a health setting
- Thorough knowledge of Windows 2000 and XP desktop operating systems; server connectivity, email and Microsoft Office Suite (different versions)
- Knowledge of Purkinje Software would be an asset
- Network experience considered an asset
- Physically capable of lifting in excess of 50lbs
- Knowledge in databases as asset (Access/SQL)
- Experience as a computer trainer, including assessing training needs and developing plans to address them at a range of skill levels
- Experience in data quality management
