Sandwich Festival
Description:
Each year the Olde Sandwich Towne holds a three day festival. Local organizations are invited to participate by showcasing their programs, services and businesses. A parade is held on Saturday. The entire community comes out to celebrate the heritage of Olde Sandwich Towne, which is the oldest continuous European settlement in Ontario.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist the SCHC staff to plan for and attend the community event.
VOlunteer time to help set-up, tear down the SCHC display on the Friday and Sunday in September.

Participate in the Sandwich Festival Parade on Saturday.
Learning Opportunities:
Gain insight into the value of community based organizations.
Prepare flyers, display materials about the programs and services offered by SCHC to share with members of the community.

Meeting and greeting members of the community; speaking to them about the programs and services offered by SCHC.
