Dr. State joined Sandwich Community Health Centre in May of 2008. He completed his undergraduate degree at Queen's University and his Medical School and Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto. After completing his residency, he practiced family medicine in Denver and Detroit for 12 years. He is now happy to be returning to practice in Canada. His clinical interests include diabetes, weight management and smoking cessation. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing the piano and watching his two boys play soccer, hockey and baseball.
Dr. Prakash joined Sandwich Community Health Centre as a Medical Consultant in May 2008 after running his own medical practice for several years. Dr. Prakash completed his post graduate residency training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease at Dalhousie University, Halifax and the University of Ottawa. He will be providing consultation to patients of other primary care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. His area of expertise is cardiovascular, diabetes, arthritis, etc. Dr. Prakash will not be providing care as a Primary Care Physician. Dr. Nin Jing joined Sandwich Community Health Centre in September 2008.
