Crossing Guard of the Year
A Crossing Guard is a person who stands at a street crossing to assist children to cross the street safely, usually near schools when children are entering or leaving the school.
Did you know that Crossing Guards are an important part of our community?
Did you also know that a Crossing Guard stands at their post through all kinds of weather conditions: wind, rain, snow, heat. The Crossing Guard is at their post everyday to make sure that children stay safe.
Thank a Crossing Guard today. Nominate them for the Sandwich Community Health Centre's Crossing Guard of the Year.
