Community Needs Assessment - Research
Description:
Finding out what the needs are is the first step to creating effective programs. At SCHC programs and services are delivered with input from our clients/residents. To gain insight into the health status of our service area we conduct survey research. The 50 question survey is both on paper format and online through Survey Monkey. The data collection period will be from August 15 to October 15, 2008. There are prize incentives to encourage participation.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry.
Assist with data collection.
Work with research leaders to compile data and data analysis.

Develop focus group plans
Learning Opportunities:
Gain in-depth knowledge and experience with research methodologies.
Learn to use data programs.
Familiarize yourself with social determinants of health and impact on the health of our clients.
