Community Garden Project Coordinator (Contract Project - Part-time)

Currently, SCHC is seeking a Community Garden Project Coordinator for a part-time, contract project.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee community garden project in West Windsor
• Coordinate interns and volunteers to carry out necessary tasks to support land preparation, planting, maintaining the garden, harvesting produce, and preparing to put the garden to rest for the winter at the end of the project
• Network and collaborate with community partners and volunteers
• Develop and facilitate community garden committee
• Provide overall leadership for the project from start to finish

Qualifications:

• Education and/or experience working with horticulture
• Phenomenal social skills and experience managing and coordinating people; excellent problem solving skills
• Experience farming mixed produce
• Commitment to balance and wellness in one's own life
